a classic case of mistaken identities for Bollywood action king Akshay Kumar was recently flooded with umpteen messages meant for Akshaye Khanna. With both actors sharing similar name, it was a big identity goof up and a huge surprise for actor Akshay Kumar.
while Akshay was shooting at Mehboob Studio for his upcoming flick ‘Patiala House,’ the actor was quite surprised as he was constantly receiving messages from an assistant that read, ‘Sir it is a 2 pm shift at Film City tomorrow’ and another one said, ‘Sir, what would you like to eat for lunch?’ The messages have been coming religiously, many times. However, I’m now wondering that if I’m getting all of Akshaye’s shooting alerts, how is he managing to reaching his shooting on time? And I don’t know how many of my messages are being delivered to him.”
At first, Akshay Kumar was a bit puzzled by the constant text messages until he found out that they were originally meant for Akshaye Khanna, who was shooting at Film City. News has it that both Akshay and Akshaye are starring in Anees Bazmee’s ‘Thank You’ and Farah Khan’s ‘Tees Maar Khan.’
